Selset Reservoir

Hector C. Parr

Selset

About half a mile beyond Mickleton village you will see a signpost to Brough, taking you under one of the arches of the viaduct. The entrance to Selset Reservoir is on your left three miles further on, immediately after you pass the little road down to Kelton. There is plenty of parking space at the north end of the dam.

FISHING

"Wild" fishing is permitted around the shores of Selset. Permits may be obtained from the machine at the Grassholme Visitor Centre.

SAILING

Sailing and Wind Surfing are no longer permitted on Selset, now that the facilities at Grassholme are so much improved.
